My Parents Hopes And Deams For Me January 29, 2010

Our assignment this week was to comment with our parents about what their hopes and dreams for us on The Reading Workshop.com.
Here is what my mom had to say.
After reading this poem with Jake, I believe that the life ahead of him is half full, because he has so many things ahead that he will be able to accomplish and experience in his future. My hopes for him is to be successful in all that he does and always follow his dreams, no matter how difficult things may get during the journey. His father and I let him know that we are proud of his successes and will always support him in his future endeavors. We would like to see him become a man of honor and always follow his heart and stand up for what he believes in. We have taught him to be an honest and giving individual. We would also want him to have a successful career and to have a family of his own one day to share his life and dreams with.

I wake up in the morning
and turn on the news
I see that we are canceled
I look out the window
a white blanket of snow
covering the ground,
I feel so excited
a day off of school

Is your family like Dannys. This is about my ssr book. The book that I am reading is called Travel Team. This is one of the most interesting books that I have ever seen.
1. The main character is Danny.
2. Dannys parents are divorced.
3. His life is tough.
4. He likes to play basketball.
5. Dannys family just had Christmas.
6. He got a new laptop and new shoes.
7. His friends are Tess and Ty.
8. Ty broke his arm.
9. Danny likes to play basketball with his dad.
10. The book takes place in Middletown.
11. Danny is 12 years old
12. He plays basketball for Middletown
13. Danny is very short
14. He goes to school at st. pats.
15. His dad played in the NBA.
16. Dannys dad was in a car wreck.
17. Danny had to be the coach of his team.
18. Danny has a girl on his team.
19. Danny likes to IM Tess
20. He likes to play basketball
I hope that you decide to read this book. I think that this book is really interesting. The author of this book is Mike Lupica. Lupica is one of my favorite authors and this is one of my favorite books.

The characters are awesome.I am writing about a book called Travel Team. I am going to write about the characters. This book has a lot of interesting and cool characters. The main character of this book is Danny.
Danny has many characteristics. One is that Danny is very athletic. He also loves to play Basketball. Danny is also the shortest player on his team. He loves to play video games with his friends.
I think that Danny is just like me. I think this because I play basketball just like him. I am also very short just like Danny. Danny and I also like playing basketball on the play station. We also have a lot of friends.
Danny and I are also different because he is an only child and I have two little sisters. We are also different because his parents are split up and mine are not. Danny also talks to his friends a lot on the computer. I usually just call my friends.
That was just things about the main character of the book Travel Team. I hope that you choose this book. One more thing I think that if I had to pick my favorite book that I have read this would be the one.

What are you thankful for? There are many things that I am thankful for. These are some of the things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for things like a great family and a great life.
I am thankful for having a great family because every body in my family loves me and nobody hates me. Everybody in my family likes to do things with me and hang out with me.
I am thankful for having a great life because nothing extremley bad has ever happened to me except when my Grandma past away. Another reason I am thankful for having a great life is because my life is fun . It makes me feel bad when I see kids that have a hard lifetime.
I hope that I have a great Thanksgiving with my great family. I hope that you have a great Thanksgiving with your family too.
