D.A.R.E. is a class that teaches you about drugs and what they can do to harm you. D.A.R.E. stands for Define, Assess, Respond, and Evaluate. It also stands for Drug, Abuse, Resistance, and Education. So this Essay is going to be about what I learned in D.A.R.E. this year and how I think that it is going to help me in the future.

There are many things that I learned in D.A.R.E. this year. I learned about what different kinds of drugs can do to you if you use them. I learned what smoking can do to you. It is also the number one cause of lung cancer. It can also give you yellow teeth and bad breath. Learning about this had an impact on me because now I know what it can do to you and I know that I do not ever want to smoke in my life.

I also learned about marijuana. I learned that it can be very addictive and that it affects the brain and the body. It also causes short term memory loss and the inability to concentrate. I also learned that marijuana has a lot of tar in it. I know that it has a lot of tar in it because we saw a jar of tar and it looked really bad and i did not want my lungs to look like that. Learning about this has had an impact on me because now I know that I never want to do marijuana because it is bad for you.

I think that D.A.R.E. is going to be very helpful to kids in the future about making good decisions about doing drugs. Smoking and marijuana are some of the main things that we learned about in D.A.R.E.. We also learned about ways to stay out of risky situations and different ways to say no. We also learned about the five kinds of peer pressure. We even learned about alcohol and tobacco. Another thing that we learned about was making healthy decisions.

I think that D.A.R.E. is going to help me because I think after learning about drugs and what they can do to you I will make better decisions in the future. My pledge is to never do drugs like alcohol, tobacco or anything of the sort. I promise to make wise decisions in the future.
